Keep track of everything
Since the beginning I write down all the data of each piece of cane that I'm going to process.
Doing so, I will know for all processed reeds, which cane, measurement, density and other charatheristics they have.
I believe that every bassonist, every bassoon is unique. Keeping track of these datas helps me to know in advance if a reed can fit a certain bassoon or a certain way of playing.
